Sending lots of love and hugs for this month's new arrivals...

The class attended is in brackets so that you can track friends you have made through the Yogabumps classes. Some of the names can be 'clicked' and this will take you to a lovely picture of their baby.

09 January: Angela (Mon) had Amelia Olwen weighing 8lbs 13.5oz. Angela says it has been a calm, positive birth experience and Amelia is just beautiful (as we can see from the photo!)

09 January: Jodie (Sun) had Max John 7lb 8oz via planned c-section

11 January: Aimee (Mon) had Margot Celeste. Aimee wrote..."Our beautiful baby girl, Margot Celeste, arrived in the birthing pool in the ABC on Wednesday at 20.30 weighing an impressive 9lbs3. A lovely labour with steady contractions, tens, gas & air and yoga ball (and Percy pig sweets!). Admitted at 4pm and 4cms dilated. Two large pushes and Margot floated into my arms - just beautiful. Thank you for all your encouragement and care, the midwife commented on my positions in the pool and asked whether I did yoga - drawing the students attention to how calm and steady it all was. Feel very blessed".

11 January: Rainy (Sun) had Isobel 3 weeks early weighing 6lb 11oz. Labour was recorded at 2 hours, and she gave birth standing up, listening to music using the breathing techniques learned in class. Rainy writes..."Thank you for all the brilliant breathing techniques and the different positions we practiced. I never thought I'd give birth standing up but it worked brilliant for me".

11 January: Vicki (Sun) had Freya 6lb 1oz. "My labour was amazing I arrived at the hospital at 11:45pm and Freya was in my arms at 12:48am when I got to the hospital the midwife told me I was fully dilated, I couldnt believe my ears! I didnt get time to have her in the pool or anything she was out after 6/7 contractions! I would like to thank you for giving me the tools to have the labour experience I have always dreamed of!"

13 January: Liz (Sun) had her baby weighing 9lb 4oz - I have no other news at the moment!!!

13 January: Catherine (Sun) had Olivia Janice 8lb 4.5oz - "The midwives were fantastic and loved my choice of music to dance about to during labour - we had a fun Friday evening ha ha! Thank you for all your tips and advice it kept me calm. We did have time in the water as well and I can not recommend the care and support I received more highly".

14 January: LeighAnn (Mon) had Ava Elsie 9lb 2oz by c-section. Apparently Ava had her own agenda (babies often do!)

"Although I did not use the practical things we learned in yoga the information which you provided was a tower of strength and a lot of people have commented on how much I must have been "reading up" on things but I have to say this all came from information provided by you. Thank you ever so much for your help and support".
